This section of the website covers a group of machines called pallet wrapping machines that wrap in a variety of ways previously formed pallet loads with stretch or shrink film, to provide security, protection and additional stability for storage and transport.
The following distinctive types of pallet wrapping machines are commonly used in a wide range of industries.
Rotating table pallet stretchwrappers wind a band of stretch film dispensed from a reel in a spiral pattern around the rotating pallet load.
Rotating arm pallet stretchwrappers wind a spiral band of stretch film dispensed from a reel attached to an arm that rotates around the stationary pallet load.
Rotating ring pallet stretchwrappers wind a spiral band of stretch film dispensed from a reel attached to a ring that rotates around the stationary pallet load.
Stretch hood pallet wrappers open, stretch and dispense a pre-formed hood over the stationary pallet load. When tension produced by stretching is released the hood tightens on to the load.
Shrink hood pallet wrappers open and dispense a pre-formed hood over the stationary pallet load. A heating frame then vertically traverses the load providing tension within the hood. Alternatively, the load progresses through a shrink tunnel after applying the hood.
